Miriam Saltmarshe

As a qualified nutritional therapist Miriam studied at the University of Westminster where she was awarded a BSc in Nutritional Therapy.

Growing up on a farm in Cornwall, Miriam had an early appreciation of the origins of food. From a young age she saw how food could nourish, and but also bring friends and family together giving enjoyment and pleasure.

A long-standing interest in health and fitness coupled with the desire to work with and for people finally inspired Miriam to become a nutritional therapist.

Miriam strongly believes that improving the quality of a person's nutrition makes a profound difference to their life. However she also understands that making the appropriate dietary and lifestyle changes can be a challenging and complex process.

As well as her private practice Miriam is a trustee of the Magic Breakfast, a charity that delivers breakfast food to UK primary school children most at risk of malnourishment. She has been directly involved in improving the provision and quality of school food through her work as a School Food Advisor.

She also works with leading model agencies to provide nutritional guidance and support for their models.
